My images of grave offerings are similarly inspired. Left by family and friends of the deceased, they seek to reach across the divide between this life and the next. They express reverence, love, longing, and a surprising amount of humor and playfulness. But above all, these offerings are left there with the faith, or just the hope that an Afterlife exists. The images are digitally manipulated to express the vivid colors and bright light reported by some who have reported a Near Death Experience.
